Operational Site Manager – RVI

Qualifications: BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science, MSc Biomedical Science, MSc Healthcare Leadership, IBMS Specialist Diploma in Clinical Biochemistry, IBMS Certificate of Expert Practice in Quality Management.

Location: Blood Sciences, RVI

Steve graduated from Hull University in 2005 and started as a trainee Biomedical Scientist in the Clinical Chemistry and Immunology department at Scunthorpe General Hospital. In 2007 Steve transferred to Pilgrim Hospital in Boston where he specialised in Clinical Biochemistry and completed his MSc in Biomedical Science.

In 2010 Steve joined Newcastle Hospitals as a Specialist Biomedical Scientist before becoming a section leader within various core sections and completing an MSc in Healthcare Leadership and in 2017  became the Blood Science Quality Manager.

As of April 2019, Steve has been Operations Manager for Blood Sciences on their RVI Site.
