Core Haematology – Freeman Hospital

Michelle graduated from Northumbria University in 2009 with a BSc in Biomedical Sciences. She then went on to complete an MRes in Biotechnology in 2010 and began working as a Trainee Biomedical Scientist in March 2011 at the Freeman Hospital.

She then went on to complete her IBMS registration portfolio, became HCPC registered and then completed the IBMS specialist portfolio in Haematology and Transfusion science. She has been working as a part of the senior team in Core Haematology at the Freeman hospital since November 2018.
