I joined the Freeman Hospital in 2010, after having spent 4 years at Harvard’s  Children’s Hospital as a post-doctoral researcher.  I completed my PhD at Cambridge University following my studies in Medicine at the Free University in Berlin and my specialist training in Haematology in the UK (St Thomas Hospital, London, Ipswich Hospital and Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge).
I am interested in setting up an early phase trials team for our haemato-oncology patients, with the aim to ultimately bring novel targeted therapy to the Freeman Hospital. I am the Chief investigator on the TIDaL trial and Prinicipal investigator on several trials.
At the national level, I am member of the adult acute lymphoblastic leukaemia working group and I am on the steering group for the UKALL14 trial. I am member of the national Lymphoma Clinical Study Group and member of the national low grade lymphoma working group.
