Helen did her undergraduate training at Newcastle medical school and underwent speciality histopathology trainee within the North East of England.  She commences her Consultant role in December 2016.

She has specialist interests in uropathology and breast pathology and also undertakes coroner’s autopsies.  Helen has a keen interest in promoting pathology among clinical specialities and in teaching.
