Dan studied medicine at Newcastle University and completed his Foundation Programme training in Newcastle Hospitals before working as a junior doctor in Western Australia. He returned to the north east of England to complete specialty training in Histopathology. Dan’s specialist areas of interest are gastrointestinal and pancreatobiliary pathology, and he also performs coroner’s post mortems.
