Cancer Genomics Service Lead
Qualifications: BSc Hons, FRCPath, HCPC registered.
Angharad gained her BSc in human genetics from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 2004 and subsequently trained as a clinical scientist in Cytogenetics. In 2008, Angharad was employed as a HCPC registered clinical scientist in the cytogenetics department at the Newcastle Genetics Laboratory and worked in both constitutional and cancer genomics. Angharad enjoyed her time as the lead clinical scientist for the UK national reference centre for Neuroblastoma biology working alongside colleagues at Newcastle University and contributing to various research projects.
In 2019, Angharad was appointed as cancer genomics service lead.
