Advanced Biomedical Scientist – Section Lead for Mycology

Susan has worked for Microbiology & Virology services for 25 years, where she is now currently in post as the Temporary Section Lead for the Mycology department. Susan trained in Combined Sciences at Trent University in Nottingham before returning to Newcastle to start her career. Her scientific interests include Serology, and she is a keen advocate for Mycology, having attended the yearly Mycology conference on numerous occasions.
