Michelle has worked for Microbiology & Virology Services for 12 years, starting life in the Trust as a Healthcare Science Assistant. Michelle has worked her way up through the ranks, now being Section Lead for Enterics. Michelle’s training repertoire encompasses Cystic Fibrosis samples, Critical Care, and Respiratory samples. In her job role, Michelle is involved in liaising with Public Health England and Infection Control. Her scientific interests involve multi-drug resistant bacteria, stemming from her increasing involvement in CPE and MRSA.
