Healthcare Scientist (Serology)

Qualifications: BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science

Jayne has worked in the NHS for 28 years after qualifying as a MLSO in 1990. She moved to the Freeman Hospital in 1992 where she currently runs the Serology Department.

She has published research work and lectured on a wide range of Microbiology and Virology topics as well as contributed to textbooks.

She is a member of the Advisory Committee on the Safety of Blood, Tissues and Organs (SaBTO) Working Group reviewing MSBTO Guidelines.
