Healthcare Scientist – Lead in Molecular Assay Development, Molecular and TB Services

Qualifications: MSc, BSc (Hons), CSci, FIBMS 

Gary leads in the development, validation and implementation of molecular diagnostic assays in Microbiology and Virology Services. Gary is a Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Science, a Chartered Scientist with 30 years experience in diagnostic Virology and Microbiology. He provides tutoring and authoring services for Liverpool John Moores University. His areas of interest include respiratory virus diagnosis, VHF and molecular diagnostics.
