Qualifications: MBBS, MD Micro (Mumbai), FRCPath

Julie trained in Mumbai and Newcastle before taking up the Consultant Microbiologist post in 2011. She is also currently Infection control doctor for the Freeman site.
Her areas of special interest include musculoskeletal infections, infections associated with bone marrow transplant recipients, haematological malignancies and fungal infections.
Julie is also actively involved with management of infections in cardiothoracic transplantation.
